Hi everyone,
I am a Ph.D. student currently residing in the US but missing my hometown, Istanbul. I am into so many things; music, cinema, literature, philosophy, writing, art, travelling, sudoku and puzzle games. I would be pleased to receive any postcard that you think would suit this thirsty-for-knowledge person. However, postcards meeting the below criteria are more than welcome:
-retro advertisements, illustrations , and cartoons (especially feminist or sexist ads and illustrations).
-postcards from the local museums.
-black and white photos, especially humorous ones.
-metro maps or anything related to metros, trains, trams or other means of public transportation.
-alcoholic beverages, liqueurs, local drinks and beer gardens.
-fun and interesting stamps.
-if possible, no tourist cards, especially the multiple view ones, also no seasonal or ad cards unless they, somehow, meet the above criteria.
