I'm an American currently living in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I hope to one day return to Glasgow, Scotland, where I hope to complete a PhD in history (one day). I did my MLitt in History there and fell in love with the entire country and city.

I'm interested in all types of history. My research area of study is the Middle Ages with a focus on 14th century England and warfare (I love all things related to knights and the law of arms!). I currently work for a nonprofit and we help homeless Veterans get housed. I often joke, I study medieval war veterans and work with modern day ones.

I unwind by reading historical romance novels. One of my favorite novels is The Phantom of the Opera and love to read classic books. I enjoy the theatre, pilates, and lately, participating in virtual runs (although I'm a walker not a runner).

I'm not picky when it comes to postcards, but collect used vintage postcards-the type you can find at yard sales / flea markets. I'm always curious about the writer / sender and what their trip was like. I also send birthday / anniversary cards to various European Royals. If you come across a Royal postcard, I'd be happy to have it. :)
