I'm from Braunschweig, Germany, 60 years old.

My hobbies are: BookCrossing, to read, taking photographs, walking outdoor, driving by car or train, nature, animals, sightseeing architecture...

On postcrossing, I often feel inspirated to learn more about destinations, artists or I enjoy following websites from the sender of a postcard.

I'm interested in reading something about your life or I'd also like to know something about the town, city or country you live in. Where did you spend your holidays? Or tell me, what catchy record is in your mind :) Who had long lasting impressed you?

I like original postcards, maps, naive painting, art, steampunk, cartoons or postcards from zoos or parks. Cards that show people working in their business. Are you talented? Snip, print, paint or stick your own postcard! Be creative...
My favourite animals are pigs, expecially wild ones or rare breeds! Of course I don't eat them...

I also love Disneys' Duck characters...

I love Tolkiens universe- so if you sent me a postcard from "Lord of the Rings" or "The Hobbit"- you would make me smile!

On Postcrossing I've seen postcards from Kaj Stenvall (with ducks that look alike Donald Duck).
I also like illustrations of fairytales or childrens books illustrated by Janusz Grabiański(from Poland), for example. And I can also recommend Finlands Artist Virpi Pekkala... :-) And Reeta Isotupa-Siltanen! I've discovered her also here. The following links give also a hint to the kind of postcards I enjoy:

Perhaps my "Favourites" are an inspiration to find out which cards are also "Favourites" for you!! :-) Btw- every morning I look for a message in my mailbox which of my postcards is now marked as a "Favourite"... ^^

I don't like so much cards with pigeons or horses- and "multicards" only for exception.

Please write the actual Date on the Postcard you send me. I prefer card stamped and written. Only one exception: for swaps I prefer them blanco sent in an envelope:) Thanks.

In 2010 I met a Postcrossing member from Beijing who was student then here in Braunschweig for some years. Sometimes the world is so small! :-D
