Hi there! I'm Nicola. I'm a teacher and an animal lover. I keep a cat and a turtle. I also had 3 beloved hamsters and a dog. It's always fascinating to get postcards from different places and read the messages. :) Also I love travelling. I have visited Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Laos, Singapore, Australia (Brisbane), Russia (Moscow), Canada (Vancouver & Toronto), France (Paris), the UK (London, Manchester & the Lake District), Hungary (Budapest), Slovakia (Bratislava), Czech Republic (Prague), Austria (Graz, Vienna & Salzburg) and Germany (Frankfurt & Berlin).

Here are a few of my likes:

- celestial events (i.e., eclipse, aurora, etc.)
- animals (except insects)
- thunderstorms, tornadoes, volcano eruption, etc
- Harry Potter (book illustrations)
- dinosaurs
- literature (especially children literature, I love Alice's Adventure in Wonderland, Peter Pan, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Anderson's tales, Aesop's Fables, etc.)
- art museums or famous paintings
- beautiful INTERIORS of European palaces, castles and churches
and a lot more.

THINGS I PREFER NOT TO GET:
- Postcards made out of cereal boxes or product packaging
- Folded card (I don't really have space for them)
