Hello,
I started Postcrossing as a way for my 5 kids to learn more about the world, but the kids are all grown up now {and we just became grandparents!!!}, so it's not for them anymore. My husband and I love nature, traveling, hiking, birdwatching, and learning about places all around the world. We've been to all 50 US states, more than 30 countries, and are always looking forward to our next adventure.

I LOVE artistic touristy postcards and would love those any time of of the year, however truly I will enjoy any postcard you send. If you need some ideas I thought it would be fun to try out a monthly theme to mix things up:

JANUARY--a funny postcard that makes you laugh
FEBRUARY--love and friendship (no nudity please)
MARCH--all things flowers and spring!
APRIL--cute animals
MAY--your local pop culture (books, famous people, places, etc)
JUNE--birds native to your area
JULY--your favorite tourist spot in your area
AUGUST--artsy (I especially love Lantern Press, Tausendschön, and Inge Look cards)
SEPTEMBER--YOUR favorite kind of postcard to receive
OCTOBER--show us your best fall colors
NOVEMBER--gratitude--show us a postcard that makes you smile
DECEMBER--Christmas and/or winter holidays
