About Viswas...

I am passionate Photographer, Philatelist, Traveller, Writer and a Coffee grower. I stay in my own coffee plantation in a hill station called Madikeri in South India. I stay in the midst of green nature.

Am interested in collecting Postage Stamps, Miniature Sheets, First Day Covers, Special Covers, Special Pictorial Cancellations, Rare Stamps, etc.

I would love to receive commemorative stamps on the postcards. You can send me any post card of your choice.....but it would make me happy to have a good colourful unique old or new stamp of your country on the post card or cover that you send. You may also send me special covers with special pictorial cancellations.

Post cards related with Post Offices, Post Boxes, Postman, Postal History, Postal Heritage, Postal Buildings, Army, Navy and Air Force related post cards, stamps, postal covers etc. are most welcome. Post cards on UNESCO Heritage sites in your country are also welcome.

I also will be happy to receive Maxim Cards. Postcrossing friends from countries where Postcrossing stamps have been released can use Postcrossing stamps and FDC to send their card.

I would also like to receive coins and paper currencies from your country.

Please write a few words about the subject of the postcard in case it is not printed on the postcard. Tell me about you, your family, your work, your hobbies. You can share a short simple recipe from your country.

I love to travel and also to participate in Philatelic Exhibitions and have won numerous prizes, medals etc for both my philatelic as well as photographic works.

My motto is "Enjoy Life...for you have only one life"

If you have an extra card or two to share, I encourage you to visit and send a card to a sick child to brighten their day. I also encourage you to add this information to your own profile to spread the word.

Thank you.
