I´m a happy grandmother for seven grandchildren. I am retired 1.12 .2016 after working for 40 years in the same kindergarten as a teacher and as a boss. I live with my dear husband (since 1976!) in a little village in Middle of Finland.

My hobbies are gardering, reading, crosswords, knitting, swimming and cycling.
I´m delighted of all kinds of beutiful,colourful postcards.
This is not the demand but only the wish: if You have a card of beautiful garden(with people or without), a child (children )playing or doing something else, I´d become super happy if I´ll find such a card in our post-box. And last but not least: I just love handmade or drawn cards👍. I am very happy if You have made such one and could post it to me👏

I' m really a Christmas person. So it' d be very wonderful to get Christmas cards in Decemder. Also I think that everybody' s birthday is worth attention. So it would be very nice to get birthdaycards in November.
Also the Easter- cards are warmly wellcome.

To me Postcrossing makes the world seem like a much smaller and happier place. I think Postcrossing is a fantastic idea to connect two random selected human beings for a while, worthy of Nobel Peaceprize!

Und ein bisschen auf Deutsch.Es ist schon etwas länger her, wenn ich Deutsch in der Schule gelernt habe, 1968-1973!. Aber nun mit der Hilfe das Postcrossing ich meinen Deutsche Kunst bessern will. So, ob deine Muttersprache Deutsch ist, kannst du mir auch auf Deutsch schreiben. Danke schön im voraus!

Och litet på svenska. Jag skulle vara mycket glad om jag skulle få Postcrossing kortet på svenska. Vet du, att i Finland vi lär oss svenska redan i grundskolan fyra år. Det är över 45 år när jag har studerat svenska, dessutom jag lever på sådant område, att människorna inte talar här svenska liksom på västkusten.Det skulle vara roligt att bättra svenska konsten.
