I'm Virpi from Finland and so fond of this great hobby. I live in a small village in the countryside 30 km north of Helsinki, our capital. We have a house and big garden with lots of flowers. I enjoy gardening, reading and travelling.

I don't know which one is the best at postcrossing - receiving, sending or picking up the best card for the receiver. I always register the cards on the same day I receive them and send cards as soon as I get new addresses.

ALL cards bring me a lot of joy but these are my favourites:

- Nature (beautiful scenery, mountains, national parks, waterfalls, lakes, sea shores etc.)
- Flowers and gardens
- Birds and animals (for example cows, sheep)
- Fairies and angels
- City views and old towns
- Castles and famous buildings
- Art (not modern art)
- Religious cards (churches, mosques, icons etc.)
- Children
- Royal people
- State cards from the US
- Vintage from the 50's
- Black and white cards
