About Svetlana...

Hello,
My name is Svetlana (you can call me just Sveta) and I'm from Russia. I'm 27. I live in S. Petersburg. I’m a linguist.
I like the art, geography, nature, cultures and traditions of different countries, and languages, of course. Also I adore Hurts (an English synthpop duo). And I'm a fan of ancient Egypt.

I'll be happy if you can send postcards with
- Ancient Egypt! Actually, any mythology, but I just love Ancient Egypt
- CATS or wild cats (I don't like only Sphynx cats. Also if you have a card with other animal(s) you can send me it too)
- Marilyn Monroe
- Frida Kahlo
- royals (except Russian royals)
- suffragettes
- woman rights
- any illustrated animals (ex. Beatrix Potter) or cartoons (if you are from the Czech Republic - Krtek, to receive card with is my big postcrossing dream )
- colourful and bright reproductions of paintings (you can send your favourite painting)
- indigenous peoples (aboriginal people)
- something very folksy (people are wearing folksy costumes, headdresses or traditions and so on)
- unusual maps

I'm a feminist. I will be immensely happy if you send me a feminist postcard, card with girl power or a postcard with a famous woman: Frida Kahlo, Anne Frank, Elizabeth II, Virginia Woolf, Margaret Thatcher, Marie Curie, Cleopatra, Hatchepsut, Joanna Chmielewska, Amelia Earhart and just like that.

If you don't have cards with my preferences, please, send me typical view of your city or country (with name of your city or country). Also you can see my favourites.

Thank you a lot)

What you can write me:
Some nice quotes or poem in your language (i'm a linguist and i do love learning languages) would make me very happy. You can write down on a card what you are doing right now, that is extremely cute and funny to read. It'll be great if you write why you chose that particular card for me.

P.S. I'd like to get bright, colourful cards. Of course, I love postcard with gentle pastel colors and sometimes black and white. But if your card is very sad or dull, please don’t send it, don’t make me sad. I’m sorry...
And please don’t send promotional cards.
THANK you a lot! I hope you understand me.

Best wishes and happy postcrossing,
Sveta
