Hi, I'm Alena and I'm a student.
I like all kinds of postcards but here are my preferences:

- rat-themed cards (I currently have 5 pet rats living with me) Also mice, furrets, maybe drawn rabbits:)

- postcards with paintings of your native artists

- urban or rural landscapes(better painted than shot, and if you have the opportunity NOT multiview cards)

- traditional clothes of your country

- lighthouses and windmills and watermills

- I'm ARIES and I was born in the year of the Goat(Chinese calendar) so I adore any kind of goats and lambs!

- I like birds, especially their pictures in the nests, and birdhouses.

- I love owls - photographic, art, illustration. They are really hot so I'm waiting for some owls flying from you to me!!!

- My other animals passion are elks and deer, I just can't get enough of them :)

- I like poppy flowers, hydrangeas, peonies and irises(try not to send other flowers except for tulips from the Netherlands)

- I'm fond of detective stories about Sherlock Holmes and those ones created by Agatha Christie, though I like all kinds of literature (except religious) and it would be nice to get a card somehow related to BOOKS in general

- Speaking about books... I like the Penguin Covers series, the one with minimalist design

- Also fan of Harry Potter, Dr Who, BBC Sherlock, Elementary and Downton Abbey series (and post-Edwardian era)

- I'm not a huge fan of maps but I do LOVE ancient-looking maps and manuscripts

- I love shopping so I'd like to receive cards with pictures of some markets, local or rural ones, and also some indigenous products from your area

- images of FOOD and DRINKS are welcome(and those with recipies would be a miracle)veggies, fruit and berries are the best!

- my boyfriend is a geek of comics so I'd be very glad if you sent me any of DC or Marvel superheroes on the card

- Spices and herbs are very cool :)I like them in all their types(both growing plants and dried ones)

- Inge Löök's grannies are just adorable! Remind me of my granny having fun with her friends!

- My latest passion is Nouvelle Images postcards

To postcrossers from Finland - I'd like to get a Moomin series card, they're adorable!

But I would appreciate any card you send me!

I also would be so much happy you should write a pleasant thing which has recently happened in your life or in the life of your town, state, county, country. Don't be mean, share your happiness!! Just a "Happy postcrossing!" won't do! :)
