Hello ,
my name is Veronika and I live in a country in the middle of Europe, the Czech Republic .Our capital city Prague is often called The Heart of Europe. Me and my family live in the Northeast of the country in a small village. My family’s much loved dog also lives here. The dog is a french bulldog and her name is "Žofka" :o)

Because of my profession in Architecture my main interests are in contemporary buildings, ancient and historic buildings, cities, history etc. However I am also interested in culture, art, books, flags, post stamps, maps, old maps, travelling, nature and music. I enjoy modern music and classical music equally. I would really like it if you could send me a picture of a historic building from your region or from your country. If you decide to write back to me I would really like to be able to read a typical phrase in your language with an English translation or something interesting about you. Little things from your everyday life for example what you can see out of your window or what your favourite food is. I really like poscards relating to Celebrations and Holidays such as Easter, Christmas, Valentines day or Halloween, especially in the right season. However in reality any postcard will make me happy because I love surprises :o)
