Hi, welcome to my profile. I have been at this for a little while now and I enjoy receiving all kinds of cards. I have found that I like lots of different cards. I like single picture cards showing your town or the landscape where you live. I have also enjoyed the other cards I received, like art cards or "carry on" cards. If you are artistically inclined, I am very much interested in your own creation. I have never received an advertisement card so far, and I don't think I'd like that. But all in all, let your imagination go wild.

It's nice when people write something about themselves, their country and what life is like where they live rather than just saying "happy postcrossing". After all, this is about making connections with people around the world.

I am a German native living in the US. I have lived in the States since 1987.

I have many interests. I hesitate to call them hobbies since I don't really have time for them..

I enjoy photography, pottery, good books. nature, national parks, puppies and kittens (who does not like puppies and kittens), Ireland, old buildings, old doors, tea, poetry, philosophy, education, biology, puzzles (that is thinking puzzles rather than the puzzles involving little cardboard pieces), wooden puzzles (the 3D knots and such), science, logic, computers, comedies and much, much more.

To sum it up, I think I am simply easily amused.
