Note: Fellow Postcrossers staying at UN offices in New York, Geneva and Vienna, please use "United Nations Stamps" (the only postage stamps issued by the organization which is neither a country nor a territory and permitted to issue stamps in three different currencies).
Dear Postcrosser! On 18 October 1558 the Polish Post was founded because regular correspondence with Italy had to be maintained during inheritance proceedings. On 1 January 1860 the first Polish stamp was issued. On 9 October 1874 the Treaty of Bern was signed. And now you and me are here because of Heinrich von Stephan, John P. Charlton and Theodore Hook.
A. ABOUT
I work at the post office in Poland. My region is famous for copper mines. I have a cat and I like testing new cat litters (e.g. tofu, walnut nutshell, corn). Postcrossing aroused a little bit of my passion not only for deltiology but also philately.
