Hello, I'm Imke from a small town near Lübeck, Germany.

Lübeck is an old Hanseatic City (formerly the capital of the Hanseatic League), situated in Northern Germany close to the Baltic Sea. The old City of Lübeck is in great parts inscribed in the World Heritage List of the UNESCO (http://whc.unesco.org/en/list/272). It's a lovely city!

If you're wondering what kind of card I'd like to get, here are some hints (or have a look at my favourites):

- exterior or interior views of cathedrals, temples, churches, chapels, mosques, synagogues, monasteries...
- castles, city walls, gates, town halls...
- Friedensreich Hundertwasser and Antoni Gaudí buildings
- picturesque villages, rural buildings, half-timbered houses, thatched houses...
- doors, windows, vaults, stained glass, details of buildings...
- wind mills, lighthouses, wood or stone bridges...
- ...

other things I like very much:
- UNESCO world heritage sites (see http://whc.unesco.org/en/list)
- SHIPS and BOATS: classic sailing ships, little boats, gondolas, fishing boats... (more the old ones, not so much big industrial ships or cruise ships)
- hot air BALLOONS
- pictures from SPACE (earth from space, stars, planets, galaxies...)
- ...
