Hi everyone out there!

I just read about postcrossing and: here I am, excited about things and postcards to come!

I`m living in that part of Germany which is called "Ruhrpott", it used to be known as the grey and dusty coal-mining capital in the past, but nowadays it turned into the most creative and lovely cultural melting-pot, surrounded by lots of woods and green areas with buildings of industrial heritage on every second corner - I love to live here!

I love books, T. C. Boyle, John Irving and Jo Nesbo are my favourite writers and I also love arts, design and the movies.
Concerning music I´m an indie/grunge/80ies-pop kid, I like The National, Archive, Editors, Depeche Mode, I really like to go and see them live in concert - and it makes my day to receive crazy, beautiful, colorful, artistic postcards.

My favourite subjects are

* typical commercial advertisings from your countries,
* movies and TV - especially animated movies and classic movies,
* black and white photographs,
* John Cusack
* firefighters

and, just one more idea: if your country is a monarchy I would like to receive a picture of your royal family or at least a member of it!

But most of all I´m looking forward to opening my mailbox and be surprised!
