I am Lukas (25), originally from Vienna, Austria, but now based in Berlin, Germany, where I study Slavic philology and social sciences at university. That is why, I would very much encourage you -- in case you are able to -- to write your postcard in a Slavic language. But apart from that, any other language such as English, German or French is fine :)

I am usually away from home for quite some time over the year, so please expect to be receiving postcards from all over the place from me. When I am not at home, my family makes sure to inform me about any cards that have arrived and I usually register them on the day they arrive.

I really appreciate any postcard you are sending me but however, please go by the simple rule: send a postcard you likewise would like to receive - and I am sure that I will appreciate it :)

With regards to my thematic interests, I would greatly appreciate postcards with the following motives:
- your hometown/country
- things related to public transportation (tramways, metros, airplanes, etc.)
- theatre/opera (especially postcards of theatre buildings/visual arts
- literature
But, as I stated above, I appreciate any postcard!

With regards to stamps, I would appreciate if you could use special issue stamps in case they are available to you. I try to not send "ordinary" stamps too.
