Hey there :]

I'll get it out of the way quickly - I have a weird name, and a very long story for it. If you're lucky, I'll find a postcard big enough and someone will find out the story :]

I live in Newcastle upon Tyne, in the North East of England near the border with Scotland, with my husband, Terry, and our Shih Tzu, Bertie. I work in a bookshop in the children’s and young adult sections whilst I’m studying for my Masters in Special Needs Education.

I’m a HUGE Disney nerd!My favourite character is Flynn Rider from Tangled, and my favourite movie is either Fantasia or Emperors New Groove. If you have any random Disney trivia, send it my way!

I love reading, normally fantasy or something with a magical/mythical twist to it, Trudi Canavan and Neil Gaiman are my favourite authors. I’m a big music fan as well. I’ll listen to pretty much anything, but I love songs that I can sing along to. My husband has walked in on me dancing around whilst setting something up and belting out some pop song like I’m the sixth member of One Direction many times. He still married me.

On each of my cards, I try and include a beautiful English word, and their meaning. I've added on onto all but the first couple of cards that I sent, and I love researching new words that I can add (I have a running list on my phone of ones to use and ones to get a definition for).

Postcard wise, I don’t mind anything. Vintage designs, posters, photos, group shots, cartoons; I like them all! I'm also a massive fan of simple, geometric art, so anything that fits that would be personally amazing! Cool stamps are a bonus as well.
