Hello.

I'm Ismail from Eskisehir, Turkey. I'm a PhD candidate in communication sciences and working as a research assistant in university.

I'm writing letters and sending postcards to friends since I was a high school student. So I rent a letterbox for this in post office. Because having a letterbox belong to person's own is also to have own memories and always waiting a letter from anyone you know or don't know. It's full of surprises.

I take photographs of landscapes, historical places etc. and because of that I travel other cities of my country. By the way, I'm making my own postcards from photos I take. Also I collect coins, stamps etc. old and antique things. I love antique. Not just for collecting, but also I'm using some of them, e.g. a typewriter, an film camera and some others.

I have a budgie named Boncuk (bead) since 2018. He is so cute and talking in Turkish :) He knows almost 20 words including his name. If you have a budgie or another kind of birds, you can tell me something about it.

I want to have postcards from other countries, especially shows city views, everyday life, historical places, something traditional etc. You can write me something about your country and your history. I'll be glad to see any kind of postcard in my letterbox.
