About Tu...

Hi, we're a cohabiting couple. Kelly is currently a Chinese-to-English translator, and Wei is a graduate student majoring cultural/social anthropology. We spend most time staying in Taipei, the largest city in Taiwan, but have been to several countries mostly for contemporary choral music festivals: Malaysia, China, Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, Austria, France and Guam (USA).

Now here are some things that we enjoy: novels, any forms of a capella choral music, street maps with lots of details, and people carrying out ordinary labors in their lives. But please feel free to send us anything, and whenever it's convenient for you, we'd be grateful if you leave a few more words for us to have a grasp of the context of the picture and/or your life.

We should make it straight again that we're happy to receive anything that you find interesting. But in case you need some clue, we would be more used to these topics:

+ a popular or peculiar crop in your vicinity.
+ detailed street maps or topographic maps.
+ indigenous culture in your vicinity.
+ ordinary way of living.
+ traditional artifacts/clothing.
+ Austronesian material culture.
+ English literature 1700-1900.
+ traditional musical instruments of your country.
+ something about public libraries/museums (but not the collection of them)

Unique advertising cards and handmade cards are also appreciated but before sending any of them please kindly make sure that it's really special, and even better if you explain to us why you think so.

Oh by the way, we're just beginning to learn Spanish now, so if you happen to be a fluent Spanish speaker maybe you'd like to write some simple sentences for us? ¡Muchas gracias!

So have fun postcrossing!
