About Mary...

Hello fellow Postcrossers, We're getting rain in Southern California again! Yay, we've been in a drought for a while. Growing up, my family lived in many states in the U.S.--on the East Coast, in the South, in the Midwest. We've been staying put in Californa for many decades now. We have a rescue dog--a little poodle, named Sassy! She's so sweet & funny. I go to meetups to meet others practicing French or to go to theaters, movies, cafes, dancing, etc. I'm almost 67 yrs. old, yikes!--a baby boomer for sure! My family's heritage is Greek, Irish, French & a touch of Belgian. A real American mix! When helping my nephew do a "Roots" report for school, I became very interested in genealogy also.

It's great to receive all types of postcards! I do like:

Statues
Art cards (I don't like Modern art)
Trains
Vintage cards
Musical instruments
Black & white cards
Holiday cards (Christmas, etc., esp. different holidays of your countries)
Characters of history
Movie stars, singers, theatre actors/& buildings, dancers
Kissing cards
Horses, Dogs & other animals
Flowers & pretty trees
Your cities & country cards
Mountains, rivers, waterfalls, stormy weather cards
Beautiful buildings and houses
Funny cards

Love hearing stories about your lives, hobbies, animals that you have, kids, what you do for fun or work, best trips you've been on, music, books that you like or just about anything.

Strange turnabout--postcrossing is bringing back snail mail! I've missed getting friendly letters amongst the bills, etc. See you in my mailbox!

❀ My birthday is Jan. 5th. If you have a postcard with something to do with birthdays & you get me as your postcrosser, I'd be tickled to get it!
