About Tom...
Hello from Seattle. Profile last updated in September, 2023.
I love all postcards and will happily receive anything - but I especially prefer the weird and wonderful: matchbox cover art, covers of lurid old paperback novels, film noir scenes, psychedelic art, Edward Gorey, Robert Crumb, MC Escher, etc.
Circus/sideshows posters or performers, weird movie or comic book covers, dark humor, weird science, smut, gnomes, fantastic creatures.
Anything related to Buddhism - Buddhas, temples, paintings, gates. Also Japanese prints.
Amazing documentary photography (Doisineau, Cartier-Bresson, Steve McCurry, Mary Ellen Mark, etc).
Handmade art cards, prints, collages, etc.
Historic portraits or views from years ago, vintage cards, carte de visite repurposed as cards, old "real photo postcards" tucked in envelopes because you can't bear to actually mail them, etc.
Free hotel cards, especially old or tacky or odd ones.
Oversized vegetables. Herbs. 4:20 cards.
I also appreciate carefully selected stamps.
If you include your address, I may send you a card in return.
Be well, Tom
PS to my card recipients - the U.S. Post Office may put a long, narrow sticker across the bottom of the postcard so they can print a barcode. If it covers the image or my message, just peel it off easily.
