About Timothy...

I am 52 years old, married and live in New York City. I collect stamps, coins and postcards and love to travel, mostly to Europe, Asia and within the United States.

I have many interests and hobbies so any of the following subjects would make me happy:
-monuments, architecture (especially interiors) and city views but not the usual tourist views. Artistic and unusual angles are appreciated.
-historical and b/w photos, street photography, people
-vintage posters and illustrations (travel, political, classic advertising, old movies, book covers, calligraphy)
-church interiors and religious-themed art
- flags, coats-of-arms. heraldry
-stamps, currency, other engravings (see favorites)
-Halloween, Christmas, New Year's cards at holidays
-owls and other birds
-ships and sailors, battleships, old sailing ships, clipper ships, East Indiamen
-trains, locomotives
-Ancient Egypt, mummies
-Medieval art
-detectives and mystery (Sherlock Holmes, Poirot, Sam Spade, Philip Marlowe)
-Men in Art: paintings and statues of kings, saints, athletes, b/w photography (see favorites)
-LGBT related

I am not a fan of:
-multiview cards, tourist cards
-cats and dogs, cute animals
-cartoon characters
-blurry, out-of-focus cards
-cards with only text
-stickers

As a stamp collector beautiful stamps always make my day, so if possible please use the special commemorative stamps. And more than one to make up the rate is always nice. Thank you in advance!
You can use an envelope if you want.

You can write your cards in English or German.

If you feel you don't have the right card, don't worry. It's supposed to be fun, so just enjoy it.

Special request: Postcrossers from Poland, my family originally comes from Makov, Plock and Chodziez (about a hundred years ago) so if you happen to have a card from any of those places I would be very interested and appreciative.

Thanks,
Timothy
