About Ekaterina...

Hi! :) My name is Ekaterina (Katya). I'm from Kaliningrad city, Russia, it's near the Baltic Sea. I'm a philologist, interested in learning foreign languages and cultures. I work in a library.
My friends and I like to ride a bike and go to a beautiful place along the the sea or just go somewhere in the countryside. I love cycling, it's giving freedom and new places to explore.
I'm interested in cooking. It's fun to find new recipes and try new dishes.
Recently I've joined a choir. I love singing, music is my happiness! So I started collecting music related cards as well.

I like colorful cards that bring bright positive emotions. And of course I would be happy with any card about your country, culture that you want to share with me. I prefer written and stamped cards.

Recently I learned about such cards like handmade food packaging cards. I made some cards and I thought it's fun. I would be really happy to receive these type of cards.

There are postcard themes I like the most and collect:

* Music, musical instruments, singers
* Maps and flags of your country
* City view, Nature view
* Food packaging cards
* Carnival
* Seagulls
* Maxicards, postal themed cards
* Das Sandmännchen
* The Little Prince
* The Nutcracker
* Inge Löök aunties
* Krtek/The Little Mole cartoon
* Josef Lada and Alena Ladova cards
* Buddha statues
* Northern lights (aurora borealis)
* Bicycles
* People reading books, book stores, library, writers
* Political/world leaders cards
* Royals
* Shaped cards
* Postcard series (FOTW, MOTW, WT, CCUN, HPC)
* Edition Tausendschön cards
* Lighthouses
* Bridges
* Railway, trains

Please do not use an outer envelope. I like to see the actual postal markings on the cards.
Please, don't send long and big postcards, they don't fit in my box. I do like shaped cards though.
Thank you so much for your card! Happy Postcrossing!!
