About Tatyana...

Hello dear postcrossers!

My name is Tatyana and I live in Surgut, a Siberian town in Russia. I like collecting cards since my childhood. When a child I enjoyed visiting post office and shops, where cards were sold, and never returned home without one. I also exchanged cards with my friends and schoolmates. It was very exciting! We counted our card collections and had a little competition whose collection was larger. Our family also received cards from distant relatives and friends for each holiday. I keep all the cards and look them through at times remembering pleasant moments and good people.

And here are some words about what I like or my favorite activities:
- knowing new people;
- flower fairies by Cicely Barker;
- cross-stitch and crochet;
- travel and good weather;
- foreign languages, recently Spanish;
- flowers;
- horses;
- sea and ocean;
- photography and beautiful paintings;
- music;
- history;
- ice- and roller-skating;
- collecting pencils and magnets;
- white tea and Puer tea, tea ceremony;
- wise sayings;
- surprises;
- my country house, so called “dacha”;
- pets...I adore my lovely poodle Nika!

As for my postcard preferences, in fact I do not have any. I would enjoy receiving any card, as it is a sign of your care and attention and fantasy, which I treasure a lot.

If you have difficulties in choosing the right card you may look through my favorite cards.
And if you ever come across cards with flower fairies by English artist Cicely Barker (they are also in my favorites) I would be just in heaven. These fairies are awesome and I made some cross-stitch designs of them already. Your hand-made cards, as well as New Year, Christmas, spring (8th March) and birthday cards are also very much welcome. It will be also interesting to receive old cards that were popular in your country long time ago.
And I also dream to collect flag and map cards from all over the world.

I would appreciate any news of the day or wise sayings from you written in any language you like, though I will understand only Russian, Belorussian, Ukrainian, English, French, Spanish, and German (the last one with the help of my friends only:) ) You could also share your favorite recipe with me. I will try it with great pleasure. And it would be great, if you could indicate your name, city, country and date on the card.

Thank you for reading this profile till the end)))! Hope to hear from you soon!
