About Elena...

Hi! I'm Elena, 34 years old computer engineer from Mexico. I like studying foreign languages, my native language is Russian (I was born in Russia), and I've studied three more, so you can write me in English, Spanish and Japanese (I can read kanji and kana). I certainly will understand if you write me in Ukrainian, Polish, Bulgarian, Czech, Portuguese, Italian and even French :)

I like sci-fi movies and books, world music, surfing the Internet, watching criminal TV shows, dancing, and traveling. I have two cats and two pet snakes :)

I will especially enjoy postcards that show:
* Nature and wildlife (I love REPTILES :));
* City view, aerial views, skylines;
* Historical buildings;
* Art, crafts, music or dance from your country;
* Beautiful sunset/sunrise;
* People wearing national costumes;
* Traditional festivities (carnivals, etc);
* Movies (posters, shots, concept art);
* Something related to space, science and technology ("geek stuff" :)).

But don't worry if you don't have any of these; any postcard will be welcome! I'll also accept ad cards, especially the unusual ones. Please, don't leave your card in blank, write me something! You can tell me about the place on the image, or why did you choose this card for me, or maybe what's in your mind right now :) Please send it to me without envelope.

I'm a huge fan of:
- Merengue music from the Dominican Republic;
- Star Wars (The Original Trilogy and The New Republic era);
- Mafalda and other Quino's cartoons;
- Digital artworks of Yutaka Kagaya;
- Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli films.
If you find something related to these themes (like Star Wars stamps), I would sooooo much appreciate it!

And don't forget to write your return address if you want to receive a thank-you card from me!

== Saludos desde Mexico ==

Elena
