Hello fellow Postcrossers,
My name is Karin and I live in Aberdeen which is situated on the north east coast of Scotland.

I'm married and I live at home with my husband. I've been retired for 3+ years which means I now have much more time for hobbies and enjoyment and fun - in fact I don't know how I fitted in work when I was working.

My hobbies are varied and include walking, genealogy, reading (Jane Austen, Georgette Heyer and Harry Potter to name just a few), knitting (I love knitting socks), crochet, sewing, writing (I love fountain pens and stationery), baking, sketching, photography and travelling (Europe mostly) not necessarily in that order.

I really enjoy receiving postcards. I am happy with most anything you send me especially local views, and I love learning all about other postcrossers and where they live. Please date your postcard and tell me a little about your weather, yourself, the area you live in or your hobbies. Alternatively, whatever pops into your head. I'm interested in anything and everything and curious about your part of the world.

From late August to mid September a birthday postcard would always be welcome and in December, a Christmas postcard but not essential.
