Hullo! | Salut !
During the current global situation, I do hope that everyone is staying healthy and well, following physical distancing and hygiene guidelines, and supporting family and friends during these rough times.
In the words of BC Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry: "This is not forever, this is just for now. Let's all be kind, be calm, and stay safe. Thank you for doing your part."
(Here's a lovely article on Dr. Henry from the New York Times: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/05/world/canada/bonnie-henry-british-columbia-coronavirus.html)
I am from British Columbia, on the west coast of Canada! I am currently in university studying History and French language/literature (my specific history interests are 20th century history, Canadian legal/political/constitutional history, and the history of revolutions), and I also worked on campus as an assistant childcare worker. I was a musician in my secondary school; I played trumpet in two bands, and sang in two choirs. I am one of the Queen's proud subjects in her Commonwealth realm here in Canada. God Save the Queen!
I would love to receive any sort of postcard, but especially those with nature/animals from where you live or with scenes from history.
Also, if you have any vintage/retro cards of your country or city, like these ones... https://www.zazzle.co.uk/travel+postcards … they will be much enjoyed and valued!!
Cool buildings/landmarks would be awesome as well!
I also appreciate neat, interesting stamps from your country. :)
Please write the date on your postcard, so I'll always know when I got it when I look back on them in the future. Thank you :)
Je parle français également ! Alors, si tu habites dans un pays francophone, écris en français, parce qu'il faut toujours que je pratique ma langue seconde! Même si je parle français tous les jours à l'université, il est encore un plaisir de recevoir des choses en français. :)
I can't wait to receive whatever postcards may come my way!
Have a great day! | Bonne journée !
