About Jay...

💌 Hello! My name is Jay, and I live in a small town near the mountains in North Carolina on the East Coast of the United States. I work full-time at a flexographic printing company that specializes in product packaging. I have a small business - MagpieDiceCo. - where I make and sell resin polyhedral dice. I also do freelance graphic design work on the side when I have the time.

I made postcards with a few of my favorite dice pictures, if you are interested, here is the link: https://www.magpiediceco.com/product-page/postcards

I love to collect things, especially polyhedral dice, stuffed animals, enamel pins, postcards, stamps, and stickers (anything shiny is fair game)! Some of my hobbies include letterboxing/stamp carving, tabletop roleplaying games (namely Dungeons and Dragons), pen palling, illustration, and photography.

If you would like postcard ideas, here’s a handful of things I enjoy:
- birds of all kinds, especially corvids
- handmade and illustrated postcards!
- cards by local artists or small businesses
- plants, animals, and scenery from your neck of the woods
- botanical illustrations, crystals, and tarot
- anything purple! 💜

But feel free to send me anything, it’s the writing on the back that means the most to me!

I also really appreciate decorated cards, I think it gives them a personal aesthetic touch! If you have any spare stickers lying around, feel free to slap them on there!

Here are a few prompts if you’re not sure what to write:
- Do you collect anything?
- What’s your favorite song right now?
- If you were given the opportunity to design a stamp, what would it look like?
- What’s your favorite bird, and why?
- What is your first memory?
- Doodle something!

If you would like to put the postcard in an envelope, feel free to do so! The US postal system can be pretty hard on postcards sometimes.

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile! I hope you have a lovely day and I look forward to your postcard!
