Hi Hoomans,

Myself Mohamed Thanseem, a Mechanical Engineer working in Qatar. Currently working on some wonderful projects which would welcome y'all to this Arabian shore for the upcoming Qatar World Cup 2022.

I was always passionate to travel and explore new cultures and people. I traveled a lot in India along with my friends and solo for my work also. I became an expat in the 'State of Qatar' in 2019, which is my first international travel and recently travelled to the 'Sultanate of Oman' and the "United Arab Emirates" in July 2022 for my Eid vacation.

In November 2022 I got a change to perform Umrah pilgrimage, which I travelled from Qatar to Mecca, Kinngdom of Saudi Arabia by car for around 3,000 km round trip, which was my longest road trip ever.

When New year came I decided to use my leave for a short break and travelled to Egypt to witness the majestic pyramids, the royal mummies and the Great river Nile. It was a fascinating experience overall and worth the visit.

I believe that the digital world made the accessibility to connect with people much better, but the soul of words and expression of feelings has been lost somewhere.

I still cherish those memories of receiving letters and postcards in my 90's childhood from my distant friends, which would be filled with those little words of immense love and affection. That longing for the reply for our letters and the excitement of unexpected delivery cannot be replaced by today's instant messaging applications.

I am very happy to find this community through a blogger and I sent my first 2 Post cards on July 17, 2022 during my trip through the UAE.
