I am a 33 year old mother and wife. I work full time for a bank. We also have 2 cats. I enjoy a large variety of things as am very curious about the world but some things I particularly enjoy are international foods/cooking, nature, drinking coffee/tea, philosophy, travel, reading, and writing. I am intrigued by foods of other cultures so I would always enjoy a recipe from your city/country.

I would love postcards with:

**Victorian era ladies/people/scenery
**Maps
**Cats
**Something kawaii or cute
**Something rather unique/different

But...I would love any postcards so I am fine in receiving art postcards, other vintage postcards, animal postcards, garden/flower postcards, etc. I will be happy with whatever you choose to send to me!

I always register your postcard the day I get it unless I happen to be on vacation which I will notate on my profile before leaving! If I haven't registered your postcard then it means I haven't received it!

If you speak fluent German then please feel free to write your postcard in German! I am just starting to learn basic German so I would love to work on translating it!

If you aren't sure what to write about then maybe...tell me what your favorite food is or what you ate as a meal today! Or...teach me a word in your native language...I love learning new words in other languages. I think this project is quite beautiful--knowing small bits about another individual in the world. It really connects our differences and helps us to see the equality in our humanity. I travel when I can but since I don't travel as much as my heart longs for then these postcards are a wonderful way to feel that I am traveling from home!

P.S. I would love a Moomin/Tove Jansson postcard if you have one! I love the characters! Or if you are from Russia...I would love to get a Victoria Kirdy card as I think they are beautiful!
