About Sneha...

Hello!

My name is Sneha, I am a 29-year-old web content specialist from a city called Hyderabad in southern India. We have a warm climate throughout the year, and we enjoy a lot of food that have origins in Middle Eastern culture.

I am a small time writer with hopes of writing full-length novels some day. My main genres/topics of interest in writing are coming-of-age, magical realism, mental health, feminism, romance, and travel.
When I'm not writing, I'll be found reading! Over some weekends I could be found experimenting with a camera in quiet, scenic parts of the city (I'm afraid I do not have a lot of options though).
Currently reading "Once Upon a Broken Heart" series by Stephanie Garber.

I'm also a loyal fan of Haruki Murakami, Rebecca Ross, and Leigh Bardugo's books, Harry Potter, the YouTube channel Yes Theory, the Korean variety show Running Man and the Korean boy group BTS.

My go-to music genre is folk. I belong to an indigenous community in India, so music for me is something I go when I feel the need to connect with myself. Folk music, naturally happens to have more influence on my spirits.

I would gladly receive any kind of postcard, provided it's NOT a color-it-yourself card or a piece of food packaging or magazine cutout. (a self-made collage of food packaging and magazine cutouts work though!)

If you are a photographer (love black and white portraits), artist, craftsperson, I would love to receive your works or handmade creations too.
If you are a writer or poet, I would appreciate your words on the back.
Well, even if you aren't a writer, it would be really disappointing to just see "happy postcrossing" on the card.

If you don't know what to write on the card you can send me a list of your current or all-time favorite books, songs, movies. You may also pluck a leaf/flower from your surroundings and stick it with clear tape!!

If you are sending nude/boudoir (obviously not x-rated) art or photography related cards, I'd request you to send it in an envelope or the Indian post is never going to deliver it to me!

As you might have surmised already, I am big on handmade/craft stuff. So if your postcard is stock paper with an old personal craft project piece (embroidery, crochet, cross-stitch, origami, art, collage etc.) stuck to it, I would be ecstatic to receive it!

Lastly, if you have spare tourist, event, ad cards that are lying waste and you do not know what to do with them, you can send them to me! I think it would be funny! But I request you please write the date, place, and weather of where you are sending it from, on the card.

IMPORTANT: Please write my address on the card in very clear handwriting as a lot of cards get lost in transit because the staff have trouble understanding it.

Happy Postcrossing
- Sneha Tete

P.S: If you have sent me a postcard which is now expired (been traveling longer than 60 days) please feel free to drop a message with the postcard ID and I will register it. Thank you! :
