About Lilia...

Salut! what means Hello! in moldavian language.

My name is Lilia. I'm 26 and I live in the Chisinau city - the capital of Moldova, a little european contry.

I work at a company that manufactures adhesive tapes. I can't say that I like my work but it helps me to survive and I like people I'm working with. And my office is in 15 minutes walk from the main post office (a rather useful thing for a postcrosser). My hobbies are: cross stitching (during dark winter evenings), origami (during free time at work), reading. My favourite season is winter, when it is cold and snowy. I am fond of dogs, but I have a big fat cat at home, that enjoys stealing food from the table (a very bad habbit). I still live with my parents: mum is a teacher of art and dad is a loader. Sometimes I think about living apart, but that's too expensive meantime.

I love to receive different postcards... each of them has its beauty and I like surprises. If it helps you to make the choise here are some ideas for you to send:
*national food
*people in traditional costumes
*interesting animals or birds that live in your area
*old ladies and gentlemen
*colourful and sweet children illustrations
*amazing landscapes
*sunset or night citywievs
*maps, may be with features of your country or state
*illustrated aphorisms
*maxicards (if you send me a maxicard, please, write to me your address and I will send you a moldavian one back. I know that they are more expensive and rare, but so beautiful!)...

I will be happy till the moon and back if you send me any of my favorites! I do appreciate your efforts!

!!! I don't like holidays because most of them have nasty history and show the hipocricy but not the sincere feelings of people around. If you respect me, please, don't send me congratulations with seasonal holidays.

I appreciate people, who write much text on the postcards and I am one of them. :) I'd like to find out smth. interesting about your country, place pictured on the postcard, your life values, your favourite quotes, greetings in your native language... there are thousands themes you can write about.

Thank you in advance for bringing me happiness with your postcard!

P.S. About direct swap:
I prefer people requesting swaps to send theirs first. I will send mine once yours arrive. Please don't be offended by this - it's because I've been disappointed when promised cards don't arrive and people don't respond to my email. :(
