About Tania...

Hola! / Hello! / Hallo! / Bonjour!
I'm Tania, 31, Half Panamanian, half Peruvian. I'm a language professional, and an applied linguistics aficionado.
I love languages. Spanish is my native language, and I also grew up speaking English. I'm currently learning German, and French. Hope to learn Portuguese someday as well.
I'm a wee bit of a geek - I'm all about pop and Internet culture - music, movies, TV, books, comics & graphic novels, technology, trends, memes, you name it. I crave information.
I love cooking and baking. I'm a big fan of all things horror, from movies to books, and everything in between; I have a special place in my heart for cute but eerie animation as well. I like driving around just for the heck of it, I find it relaxing.
I love traveling. So far I've been to Peru, Costa Rica, USA (Minnesota in my heart), and the British Isles - the whole of it. Last but not least, I like spending time with my significant other, closest friends, and family.
Now, on to business: all postcards are welcome. However, I'd be extra happy if you send me any of the following:
- National costumes
- Anything with writing in your language ( extra points if it's in a language other than English or Spanish, and double extra points if it's in an alphabet other than the Roman one!)
- Your country's map
- Things unique to your country (e.g., Russian matryoshka dolls, Mexican Día de los Muertos items, Korean tricolor fans, etc.)
- Horror related
But no hurries! Whatever you send is cool and appreciated. Please don't envelope them, send them bare as they are :)
Also, a little disclaimer: my local postal service is not too efficient, and sometimes postcards may take a veeery long time to arrive. If you've sent me a postcard and it's about to expire, please message me the code and I'll enter it - it'll eventually reach my hands, no worries.
PS: No direct swaps please! I find those hard to track, and so I'd rather stick with the system. (Unless I've sent you a coded postcard before, and you'd like to keep in touch with me. Message me if so.)
