Hello, my name is Penny and I live in rural Tasmania. The population of my village is 197 people, and it is a very beautiful place to live. The earth here is very fertile, and we grow mostly potatoes, peas, and medical grade poppies.

I work in a Post Office in my nearest city and I love seeing postcards from different countries. I enjoy showing the postcards I receive to my customers and encourage them to join Postcrossing.

I have a dog called Dory, a black cat called Jet and two pet rescue pigs called Tricksy and Peppa.

Life in Tasmania is so wonderful - I am very lucky and appreciate the community that I live and give back to.
