Hi, I am excited to do this! I have a son, Viktor, who was born January 2, 2011 who takes up most of my time, which I love! But, I am ready to get some of me back, which includes more writing, I don't care if it's post cards or something more major, I just need to get back to myself.

I miss living in Boston, so I would love to know about where you live. And I love music, especially rockabilly. My favorites are The Reverend Horton Heat, Deke Dickerson, the Supersuckers, Los Straitjackets, George Jones, Jesse Dayton, Southern Culture On The Skids, The Railbenders, Stevie Wonder, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, the Statler Brothers. Those are who just pop into my head.

I live in a very rural part of Iowa and miss the contact and interaction I had with people when I lived in a city. I am lonesome!

I love to cook and bake, if you are so inclined you could send a recipe.

I love unusual, out of the ordinary things.

I love the tv show DALLAS, from the 80s.

I love swimming and the ocean. Oh, how I love the ocean!

My favorite cookies are black and white cookies that I can't find anywhere, where I live.

I love walking around cities and exploring neighborhoods.

I love Indian food, but I'm intimidated by it, so I've never made any.

I love the movies of Will Farrell.

I love Jimmy Fallon.

I love when Will Farrell and Jimmy Fallon sing Tight Pants!!

I prefer oceans to mountains.

I don't eat meat and love mushrooms and broccoli.

I have been a nanny, a pizza maker, a bagel maker, and I've worked in a high school.

I do not like house work, and it turns out I'm also not good at it.

I love to write, and get, letters. So if you want to become penpals I'm all for it!

I love stickers, although I don't always use them because I love them too much to not have them.

I love stationary and cards but live in a place where there isn't anything different or fun. This makes me sad.

I often root for the underdog.

I can usually find a silver lining.

I love to read.

I love to go to the movies, although I don't get to go very often now that I live in rural Iowa because there aren't many theaters and they all play the same 3 movies, the interesting independent ones do not come here, and I've never taken my son to a babysitter because I can't bear the thought of that so our options are limited to when my parents are home and available to watch him. But that's ok! THIS JUST IN! We have had our first babysitter just before Christmas 2014. Since then my son asks, at least once a week, to have her back - so it looks like we could start going to the movies again!
