Hello dear Postcrossing friend, welcome to my profile... :)

Thank you for stopping by...here´s a little something about me:

I love everything about the old-fashioned way of sending a postcard or letter to a friend and penpals around the world. Opening the letterbox and not just picking out bills is a great feeling! :)
I love beautiful stamps and I love it if your Card has a personal touch (something about yourself, scribbles...stickers, decoration etc)

I am a social worker. I have worked with people with special needs, in a refugee camp and am now a caretaker of a mentally severely disabled, non-verbal autistic woman...

I have a dog that I love to bits. Her name is Tanea and she´s my everything...we love to spend our time roaming the forests, at the lake or just cuddling up at home. She is a rescue from Hungary and she will be 11yrs old in October (born 2009).

Besides spending time with my dog I love to read, watch TV, go to the movies...I also enjoy photography aswell as drawing/painting and art/crafts in general!

Tell me something about yourself (just ideas):
How was your day? Did anything exciting, surprising, scary etc happen in your life/city/country? What did you have for breakfast ^^ or dinner...What was the last book you read or movie you saw? What would you do if you won the Lottery?....Surprise me :)

As for the postcards i´d like to receive - first off, follow your gut :) it will be the perfect card and i will love it...Maybe check my Favourites to get an idea what i might like...I am still figuring it out myself ;)
My favourites are a mix of cards I have received and cards i might like to receive...

What I do like/love:
-volcanoes, geysirs, lava etc. (so if you´re from a country that has any of these...*hint hint)
-natural scenery (ocean/coast/beach, mountains, lakes, forests etc) and animals
-art (maybe pick an artist that you like or that is from your country)
-photography (local artists for example,street photography, Black&White, indigenous people)
-artsy illustrations
-traditional costumes/clothing or food or historic places or....something typical for your country/city etc
-artsy tasteful nudes
-the occasional touristy card :D
