About tandrj...

We are Trina and RJ, wife and husband in their early 40s who are originally from the Philippines but are in Singapore temporarily with their kids (15 and eight years old).

We love to travel and explore the world both locally and farther away. Our most memorable trip so far had been a six-month stay in the UK when we had the chance to visit lots of quaint places from Scotland to Somerset.

As for Singapore: we've been to this country a few times already, but this is the first time for us to stay here on a more extended basis. This year therefore we are excited to explore every nook and cranny of this island state as well as Malaysia, Indonesia, and maybe a bit beyond.

We welcome all postcards, including free cards, advertising cards, oddly-shaped cards,Touchnote, and the like. We're not picky at all; for us, one of the joys of Postcrossing is catching glimpses of how the other side of the world lives via clues seen in your postcards, stamps, stickers, and notes. Therefore, any kind of postcard is really a new discovery. :)

Our only request is for you not to put them in envelopes; we love your stamps marked and franked. And as for the stamps--the bigger, the better! (Special note to the Russians: your postal service has the biggest, most beautiful stamps we've ever seen bar none, please keep 'em coming!)

If you have no idea what to write, do tell us about any of the following:

*your typical day
*your favorite local food, movie, or book
*a corner of your town or city that is not necessarily a tourist spot but that you find quite interesting

Thank you very much, and have a great day!

We get asked a lot about our avatar: this photo was taken at 51°30'27.2"N 0°00'05.7"W on the Prime Meridian Walk in Blackwall, London. This gem of a place is across the River Thames from the more famous Greenwich Prime Meridian in the Royal Observatory, which costs a small fortune to enter. Access is free; just bear south from East India DLR Station.
