Hello there,

My name is Susanne and I live in Gouda, Holland. I am working as a social worker in Rotterdam. Compared to Rotterdam, Gouda is a really small city. Just as Holland is a really small country compared to other countries in the world :P.
But I love the canals, the biking, the landscape and the general mentality of Holland. And of course Kings Day, the best party we have, celebrating the birthday of our king.

I also love to travel and exploring new countries. I find it very interesting to see how diverse our world is and at the same time how many things we all have in common!

That is why I really like the concept of Postcrossing. It is a way to connect the world. I really miss the times people were sending postcard and writing real letters. Since I am probably the last one of my family and friends to write birthday & Christmas cards, I think here I will find people like me; who love the old-fashioned mail :D.
