Hello everyone :)

I discovered this project through a friend and I found it very interesting. I'm really excited about this.
Well... about me. I am an English teacher. And I travel a lot around my country each year depending on the school where I will teach.
I love reading,dancing, walking, hanging out with my friends, travelling and everything that is related to recycling, DIY and "home made arts". I try to forget problems by using my hands and any object that comes around.
I will write about my country and answer all your answers about it.
At the moment I'm working in Lisbon, the capital. I moved here last September and although coming here just to work, I found my first boyfriend after 20 years. Life is so unexpected and fantastic :)
I'm very curious to see how your cities / countries are.

I love:
- roses, daffodils, lilies... all flowers :)
- my favourite painter is Klimt
- cartoons (my favourite is Shawn the sheep :)
- beach, the sea, the countryside (I´m not a city girl)
- lighthouses
- a cosy home
- fireplaces
- liquors and jam (I make them)
- paintings with women (nudes)...
- my favourite season - spring, but I love the snow
- cakes, cupcakes, wedding cakes... all types of cakes
- kitchens - I love cooking, but specially baking
- books and libraries
- vintage: objects, pictures, Audrey Hepburn dresses, pin-up girls...
- America: the 40s and 50s
- rock´n´roll - Elvis Presley and other singers
- Mexican Culture
- Tim Burton films and everything related to him
- cross stitch

But, I will be pleased with everything that you send. I love to find my mail box full with postcards :)
