Happy New Year!

*** Don't feel like you have to read my entire profile, I know it's long.

I'm Carrie, I live in California but my home state is Washington.
I love to travel! I've been to every state in the US and several countries around the world. I'm always ready for a new adventure whether by air, sea, car or train. My current travel goal is to visit all the U.S. National Parks to do some hiking and photography.

Some of my favorite things are travel, photography, quilting, crafting, sewing, embroidering, scrapbooking, hiking, camping, beachcombing, board games, outdoor adventures and visiting with friends and family.

Any card you send will be perfect. I love postcards with landmarks, scenery or something of interest. It can be from an awesome place to visit; like an amusement park, beach, "tourist trap", etc or if you have one that says "Greetings from " or holiday cards, especially Christmas! I love to fill my door with Christmas cards!

Please be sure to send a short message with the card - I enjoy hearing from people. Let me know if you've been to California (or my home state of Washington). If you're not from the US, but have visited, tell me about your adventure.

My hubby and I have been married 43 years, we have 3 married kids, and 7 grandkids (4 girls, 3 boys, 6,7,8, 9, 10, 11 and 15 years old). They make my heart smile - they're so precious, but often mischievous! Four of your grandkids recently moved with their parents, one family moved to Wisconsin and the other went to Ohio. We totally miss our frequent visits with them but take pleasure in our facetime chats.

Please do not delete my scanned images, I like to keep track of the cards I've sent and received. Thank you! If possible, please scan the card you send me.

All the cards I've received are favored and displayed temporarily in my office. My "favorite's" wall are cards that I've seen on other's walls and love.

*** EXPIRED CARDS*** my list is growing longer, last year was a killer for expired cards. Many of my cards have been zapped off by Postcrossing because they have been missing over a year, I am so bummed about his, especially after taking time to find the perfect card for a fellow Postcrosser. I wonder where the cards end up, I have a return address on just about every card I send. I created a facebook album of postcards that are about to fall off my list, so at least I can remember what I sent and facebook friends can see them.

I register all cards the day I receive them.
