Hi there,

my name is Anna and I'm 33 years old. I'm a translator by day – I translate texts from English, French and Dutch into German – and pretty much a couch potato by night (especially if I have a good book on hand... or a less good book... or just about any book at all).

I'm currently living Luxembourg, but I have also already lived a couple of years in France, in England and in the Netherlands and many, many years in Germany since that is where I've been born and raised. I don't go on holidays to other countries a lot, I rather seem to just move there... ;-)

I would love to receive postcards with any kind of animals on them, colourful cards, funny cards or simply the kind of postcard YOU would be absolutely thrilled to receive (I'm a curious person, I like to know what other people like).

And if you really want to make my day, write something in your language on the back of the postcard (with its translation in English). I just love to learn new words in other languages. It can be simply some basic phrases, like “Hello, my name is...” or “thank you” etc., or some really random words which are funny or interesting or which you think I should know in your language. :-)
