About Suzanne...

I am 53, married for 27 years, with three children---two boys in their 20s and a daughter who is 15. My beloved daughter has severe autism, which keeps me at home a lot of the time, and is the reason I love snail mail---something I can do while at home! I am a huge cat lover, with two indoor cats and a colony of four outdoor fixed strays I feed. I am also an avid gardener, mostly of daylilies, hostas and morning glories. I read all the time, usually a book a day! I love to read about life around the world, and travel virtually to places I will most likely never be able to visit in real life.

I love hearing about daily life in other countries---little things like what you have for breakfast, what you read or watch on TV, what kind of school you or your children go to---things like that! If you have pets, I am very interested to hear about them, or if you flower garden, I'd love to know what flowers you grow. If you have a special item you collect, that's always fun to hear about, too.

I'll love any postcards you want to send! I especially love Blue Cat cards (by Rina Zeniuk) (never worry if I already have the one you are thinking of sending---I love these so much I could have 20 of each and be happy!), cards with cats, foxes or hedgehogs (illustrations or real ones, I love both!), forest scenes, Christmas themes, subway or other transit maps (to share with my sons!), Pettson and Findus cards, illustrated alphabets, ,Kliban cats, Star Trek, The Simpsons, Peanuts/Charlie Brown/Snoopy, 3-D cards, square cards, snowflakes...things like that! But any card you send will be treasured. It is just so amazing getting to know people from around the world a bit by the magic of mail!

Hard to find cards---my parents will both be turning 80 later this year. Sometimes I make them up albums of postcards of their favorite themes. If anyone has a card with an Airstream trailer, a card featuring girls' series books (like Trixie Belden, Nancy Drew, Judy Bolton, etc) or a card celebrating Ham Radio, those are their somewhat obscure interests and it would be wonderful if you wanted to send me one of those cards to put in their birthday album!

I enjoy interesting stamps a lot!

Best wishes to everyone!
