I am 56, living in Boston, married for 30 years, with three children---two boys in their 20s and a daughter who is 18 . My beloved daughter has severe autism, which keeps me at home a lot of the time, and is the reason I love snail mail---something I can do while at home! I am a huge cat lover, with three indoor cats and and two outdoor fixed strays I feed. I am also an avid gardener, mostly of daylilies, hostas and morning glories. I read all the time! I love to read about life around the world, and travel virtually to places I will most likely never be able to visit in real life.

I love hearing about you...things like the names of your pets, what you like to eat, where you grocery shop, if you garden, whether you like coffee or tea or neither---that kind of things, regular everyday things that make up our lives! I love watching birds---tell me what birds you commonly see where you live, if you wish!

Cards I love (although I like all cards and will be happy with any card you send!)....
Illustrations of cats (especially the Blue Cat cards), Christmas or New Years cards from September to January (I stretch the season!), Jetoy cats, British royalty, folk type illustrations ,Edition Tausendschön, Star Trek, any card featuring the State of Maine (my home state!), illustrations with lots of details, any cards with any characters from the Peanuts cartoons, Kliban cats, Krtek cards, and any cards you'd like to send that are part of a series (which I will then probably want to start collecting!)

Every card I receive will be treasured. It is just so amazing getting to know people from around the world a bit by the magic of mail!

I enjoy interesting stamps a lot, although I'm not a stamp collector. I just love seeing them on your cards! I especially love Christmas or New Years stamps.
