About studiocleo...

Hi Postcrossers!

I am especially intrigued with postal ephemera - old cards, letters, writing in general, postmarks. Anything about books/reading, stamps, etc. My taste and interests tend to a number of different directions - these can be sensed/seen by a visit to my site. I love stamps, so it would be great if you could use smaller denomination [smaller money amount] stamps so there is more than one stamp on the card... %_^ Also, I like cards in envelopes so I can remove the stamps without ruining the card. If this is possible for you, I would appreciate it!

I make collages, so if you feel like sending an envelope with something from your country in it, I would love it! Any paper stuff - tickets stubs, bus transfers, an old letter or envelope, cancelled/used stamps, matchboxes/match packs (I collect & use these especially! - a pack of matches w/ matches removed or a box smashed flat or with the labels separated/torn off), an old advertisement, a piece of packaging from some bought item (like food), a bill, a receipt, price tags, an old piece of mail, a folded up piece of black & white newspaper (preferably in your language - that is, not English paper) - what-have-you... Please feel free to use your imagination! ^_^

For cards I adore geisha pictures!

I also love anything to do with the post (mailboxes, letters, postmarks, etc). Also typewriters - writing in general and books.

I love architecture images - especially old buildings/castles, bridges, architectural details, old towns, etc. The more historical, the better! ^_^

I love maps too!

I also love art. I like modern art the best (especially abstract!)

Also Black & White photography cards are great - scenery of towns, buildings, nature, or portraits of people (not children or babies though).

I don't like regular tourist postcards much [new ones anyway, like pictures of famous sites that say "Welcome to my Country!"] or multiview cards. I'm not too fond of bright colours. (Please no postcards of cats, dogs or babies/children - I'm generally not interested in "cute" things).
Please no Free Cards.

Thanks for reading all of this! %_^

Have a Great Day! And happy postcrossing!

Today I want to add a great and sincere thank you to all my correspondents. Every one has been so kind in sending me envelopes with numerous stamps, often filled luscious goodies! I now have many envelopes filled with neat little marvels from all over the world. I cannot express how much this excites me, and how very, very happy I am almost every day when I open the mailbox! Immense Thanks to you all! I only hope I can bring a semblance of such joy into the lives of others...

Enjoy!
Cleo (Claire)
