I thought this would a great way for my daughter and I to see and learn about different people, places and cultures from all over the world and the US. I'm 40yo and my daughter, Ella is 13yo. Please send age appropriate cards (she is 13yo)i.e. no erotic nudes, etc. This is our special project that we do together. We are going to place pins on a large map of the world when we receive cards.
I like landscapes of where you are (views that would make me want to jump on a plane tomorrow). I also like butterflies (would love to receive a Christopher Marley postcard), llamas, alpacas, chickens. Also like art, nature or whatever you find amazing from your area.
We both LOVE the TV shows The Walking Dead, Supernatural, Dr. Who, Sherlock and anything from Studio Ghibli (Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, Arrietty). We are Harry Potter fans as well. Ella is also a huge Dan and Phil fan (youtube).
We would love to move to England as soon as we can. I don't know when or how but...someday.
We are interested in swapping as long as it is not too complicated (like asking for a very specific card or stamp that I may not be able to get a hold of). I will do my best to give you what you like.
What to write? Please tell us about where you live and what makes you proud it. Things you like to do in your hometown or places that are very interesting or historic. You can write whatever you like as long as you realize my daughter will be reading it as well.
