About Martina...

Hello to everyone, my name is Martina and I live in the southwest of Germany. I am the mother of two wonderful girls whom I love dearly and I am happily married to the best man in the world. I work as an interpreter/translator. I love music and all kinds of stuff, antiques, architecture, art, interior design (well, design in general), old photos, good food and many other things. We have six cats, two dogs, plenty of fish and other pets. When I was young, I used to have many penpals. But when had my kids, all letter-writing came to a stop. I also took a long break from postcrossing. But now I am back to both. In the meantime, I also started collecting postcards. Old postcards from 1945 and older (most of those were sent between 1900 and 1920) and randomly I collect new ones too.
I would invite anyone to feed my mailbox with all kinds of colorful, cheerful, nice, witty, amusing postcards (just for the fun of it!), and I especially appreciate handcrafted cards or your own drawings. .
But unlike other members I am not picky. No matter if you send free/commercial cards, tourist cards with multiple pictures or whatsoever, as long as you are creative in what you write and feel that your card suits me in any way.

IMPORTANT! I am not interested in direct swaps (postcards, goodies). But if you would be interested in becoming penpals please don't hesitate to ask!

Oh, and one last thing: I do not mind at all if you write something in your mother tongue instead of English and in your alphabet, be it Chinese, Cyrillic, Greek, Korean or Hebrew lettering, as long as it displays your culture and is part of your life!

MANY THANKS FOR SPARING YOUR TIME!!
