Nice to meet you!

I want to tell you how much I'm still enjoying it! It's a new hobby ( became an addiction) and brings me every day a lot of pleasure and happiness.

My name is Ellen, I just retired and have always worked as a nurse in a hospital. Most years in medical psychology/ psychiatry.
And I do my best to make another postcrosser happy / smile..

One postcrosser wrote this and I think it is so true!!

`It`s not about receiving and collecting cards - it`s about sharing a part of yourself with the world. Influencing people and leaving your mark in a place you may not ever get to visit. It`s about connecting. It`s putting a smile on a face you never get to meet.

Traveling is one of my hobbies, meeting and learning about other people, countries, cultures, nature and history.
My favorite colour is blue / turquoise
Other hobby's: reading, music of the sixties and seventies, Latin music and playing djembee.
It's very interesting to learn from the past, the Inca's / Maya's.
