About Zeynep...

Hello there!
This is Zeynep from Istanbul.

I have been a part of Postcrossing community for more than 15 years! Mainly because being greeted by a postcard at the end of a day makes me furiously happy.

I am a marketing person, working as a strategist for brands.
I have a never-ending curiosity about people, languages, societies, cultures, beliefs, our decision making processes, motivations or barriers.
I'm driven by the very qualities that make us human and the beautiful differences that make us so diverse.
Anything connected to the question of WHY fascinates me endlessly.

I've been dedicated to kick-boxing and pilates for several years and consider myself to be passionate about wellness, even though I don't always stick to *the rules*
Because I'm irresistibly drawn to good coffee, fine wine, and delicious food, along with the joy of traveling.
Another joy of mine is catching movies at festivals.
Lately, I've been diving deeper into the world of Ayurveda and Human Design while also attempting to learn some Danish.

Nothing makes me happier than visiting a new place for the very first time, learning something exciting or trying something I've never tasted before.
I am happily married. We have two daughters: an 11-year-old cat and a 3-year-old human :-)
I hold onto the hope that science, empathy and unbiased kindness will save the world.

You may send ANY kind of postcard you like, but please just write about yourself or your city a bit: something you like, somewhere you enjoy going to, someone you love/hate, a good book you have read, how was your day, what is your biggest dream, who broke your heart or which local food makes you smile...
What is your little story to tell a complete stranger who doesn't know you but has been waiting a postcard from someone -who happened to be YOU?

Your written message is much more important for me than the postcard itself, indeed.
