Book obsessed, day-dreaming Pisces who finds solace in the written word. Law graduate. History nerd. BtVS tragic. Avid snail mailer. Lives with partner and dog-son in a Victorian stone cottage in a tiny town located in the Flinders Ranges.
I like many things and have many interests. These include:
Writing, reading, paper crafts (I mail art, scrapbook, and smashbook), handmade items, history, gardening, environmentalism and conservation, Vegetarianism, photography, museums and art galleries (I swoon over the works of Waterhouse & Poynter), libraries, travel, ghosts and demons, Victorian + Edwardian + Georgian architecture and fashion, lighthouses and anything to do with the OCEAN, Jane Austen, Joss Whedon, Brian Froud, Neil Oliver, comic books, Mother Nature, animals, Tarot, dreams and imagination, vampires, faeries, inspirational quotes, food and wine, anything French, and a whole lot more.
Postcards relating to any of the aforementioned interests would be wonderful! Please check my FAVOURITES to find out the style of postcards I am interested in receiving. Please note, I'm not particularly fond of multi-view cards or anything overtly touristy, unless they are art cards or MaxiCards. I've nothing against receiving artistic homemade cards. Please do not send me advertising cards unless they are seriously quirky.
Write me something interesting! Tell me about your day, the weather, why you live where you live, what influenced your choice of card, a favourite quote, your favourite book, or how you plan to survive the zombie apocalypse...That kind of thing. ;)
I generally do not keep or cannot get multiple of the one card. If I have sent it, chances are I do not have another.
I am interested in exchanging blank art cards and creative/quirky postcards with people in quantities of between 5 - 10 per exchange. It's just not worth the postage otherwise.
Please don't be offended if I don't reply to your request for a private swap. It's not personal. Who I choose to swap with at any one time is completely random.
