About Wang...

Hello! Everyone! My name is Sophia Wang. I live in Shanghai, the most biggest city of China. I would like to share my ideas through postcrossing with many people.
The reason I like to play postcrossing is that I like to make more friends and collect postcards and stamps from all over world. I have been to many cities in China, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and Malaysia. Wherever I go, I would like to send postcards to myself for memories. I know this world is very big and what I have known is very little, so postcrossing has given me a chance to know more about this world. Steve Jobs said before “stay hungry, stay foolish.” When you know you are tiny, you will learn more and know more. So postcrossing could be a door that I start to open a new world .

Except for traveling, I like reading literature and many different cultures. In my leisure time, I like to read history books and detective novels and many different classic literatures, and I like modern drama and stage plays. The most attractive thing is the new exhibition of the museum. I am always curious about the involution and development of mankind. I would like to ask myself the philosophic questions: “ Who am I? Where I come from? What kind of the world is ?” I think that man can only define this world by defining themselves. And the hardest thing is to define one's self! I like music, any kinds of music. These are more reasons that I like to play postcrossing.

Then, Let me introduce my country and my city. China has been the second economic entity in this world and Shanghai has been the richest city in China, even is richer than Beijing. Shanghai is a diversified city; There is a biggest trade harbor in Shanghai. From this harbor, many types of goods were sent to all over the world . That’s the famous “Made in China”.

Maybe I am a very thoughtful person, but this makes me think of some lines of musical play < I, Don Quixote>:"if this world itself was ridiculous enough, what could be mad? Maybe too practical is crazy. It maybe too mad to give up dreams. Looking for treasures, but only found garbages around. Too sober maybe crazy. But the craziest thing is to accept reality instead of thinking about what the world should look like!"

If you still don't know what kind of postcard you would like to send, any kinds of postcard will be welcome! Best Wishes! Happy Postcrossing!
