My name is Sonya. I work at a hospital in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit as a database manager. I have had a varied career. I started as a clerk for the Department of Defense US Air Force. Then I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems and programmed for seven years. I went back to college and followed up with a MS of Biology. I have worked as a medical laboratory tech in a fertility lab and hematology cancer lab. Currently I am working as a data manager. I am married to a REAL cowboy. He has worked cattle his whole life. We live in northwestern Louisiana on family land. We have cattle, horses, and dogs. I love arts and crafts of all types. My biggest desire is to travel, meet new people and discover the cultures which make us unique.

Nature always amazes me; my favorite animal are an Okapi and pygmy marmoset monkeys. My greatest animal encounter was a marmoset walked over and sat on my hand. I held my breath in awe. I love all mammals...never tire of the Animal Kingdom.
